"Ukraine at the World Cup" brought exactly the kind of drama and nostalgia we were aiming for. We truly hope that making the film available on Netflix will let everyone allow everyone to relive those emotions and cheer for Ukraine’s national football team once again, says producer Maksym Serdiuk.
The film is part of the documentary series "EPISODES", which explores fascinating stories from independent Ukraine’s history. They’re naive, heartbreaking, and ambitious all at once. Told by the people who lived them, with the help of unique archival footage.
