SPARK is a documentary series about the new Ukrainian culture. It is the debut project by KNIFE! Films. Each episode explores an important theme: from the phenomenon of Ukrainian pop and folk music to comedy, cinema, food culture, street art, and clothing brands.

The goal is to create a unified narrative about a self-sufficient and stylish Ukrainian culture.

Over 100 interviews were filmed for the documentary series — featuring people who, at the time of the project's creation, were actively transforming Ukrainian and global culture with their ideas. The series became a significant event in the Ukrainian media space.

“SPARK is not about Ukraine. It is Ukraine, where people with completely polar points of view live, interact, and create incredible things”, — says producer Maksym Serdiuk.
